Paper Wings Productions Stamp of the Month

I am back with another card to share with you using Paper Wings Productions stamp of the month Funky Alphabet.

This alphabet stamp set is so fun and can be used in so many ways! I wanted to create a fun but simple card so I pulled some great polka dot papers from the Sn@p Color Vibe 6x6 paper pad and started to create my card! I started with a white card base and then covered it with an aqua and white polka dot paper. I then used my Stampin Up Square Framelits to die cut some different layers to add to my card. Here is a look at my finished card.

I also used the Art Textures stamp set with this card. I wanted to add a little bit of a pattern on the white cardstock before stamping out the hello. This card was super simple and I created a handful of them in no time at all! Love Mini Album

I feel like it has been so long since I have posted to my blog! Things have been very busy around here but I am excited for all the great things coming up! Make sure to follow my blog and Facebook to stay up to date! Today I am here to share with you a mini album I created using products from the Paper Wings Productions shop. They carry amazing stamps but they also carry a great variety of other products to satisfy every creative need! If you have not been to the shop lately you might want to head on over and check it out HERE. They have added new products recently and there will be more new and exciting product coming very soon! I can not wait! To create my mini album I used a few pieces of plain chipboard and painted them with some red acrylic paint. Once my paint was dry I used some Lindy's Stamp Gang Sidekick sprays to add some more beautiful color and some shine. Once it was dry I used the Art Textures stamp to add some images to my pages.

The Linen Heart is also found in the Paper Wings Productions Shop and can be used in so many different ways! I used the Text Melange stamp set to add some script onto the heart and then I adhered the word love onto the heart. The love sentiment comes from the stamp set Valentine Wishes and after I stamped it out on some cardstock I cut each letter our separately. Hello everyone I am here to share with you challenge #64 over at Red Carpet Studio. This bi-weekly challenge is inspired by the 86 annual Academy Awards and the challenge is to create something inspired by the Academy Awards. Do you have an award that you want to feature on a layout? Is gold your signature color? Create a project inspired by this yearly tradition in American film.

I was inspired by all the gold that go along with "The Oscars" so I created a card using some gold sequins and a gold die cut that I cut using my Cricut Mini. The gold paper I used is from Stampin Up and it is the Gold Foil Sheets. It cuts beautifully in my Cricut and my cuttlebug! Here is a look at my finished card for this challenge.

Cut & Paste Blog Share

Welcome to the Clique Kits Blog Share featuring Amy Tangerine's Cut & Paste collection. I am so excited to be using this collection because you all may already know how much I adore all things Amy Tan!! Her style to me is fresh, simple, fun and never goes out of style! I love the icons she uses in all her collections and the camera is my favorite! Her collections can be used in so many different ways to document life and her new collection Plus One has my heart skipping a beat!

Today I am sharing two layouts with you using the Cut & Paste collection and with photos of my two youngest babies. I love to document the big events in life just like everyone else but it is very important to me to document the little things as well! Our two youngest are always up to something and I try to capture as much as I can on camera! The day I captured this photo of Eli and Gavin at the kitchen table was special to me because little Eli is actually sitting in a big boy booster seat at the big table eating strawberries for breakfast with his own little fork! Melts my heart into a puddle! Big brother Gavin is keeping a very close eye on him like he always does making sure he is doing things the "right way"!

I used one of the embroidery kits to create the number 2 on my tag and placed one of the heart die cuts on the tag as well with the hash tag wood embellishment from Creative Embellishments. I heat embossed the embellishment in white so that it would stand out on the heart! For my next layout I used the 12 x12 Word Up paper from the collection that has some word bubbles and stitched blocks around the paper. I thought this would be a lot of fun to create a layout with and fill the stitched blocks with photos, journaling and embellishments.

I used photos of Eli and Gavin and their daily adventures at home! Cuddling, getting into trouble and just being so darn cute!!

I kept this layout pretty simple but I love how it turned out and it documents these two little guys perfectly! Make sure you leave a comment on each blog along the way for your chance to win this great prize pack.

14 Days of Love Blog Hop

I made a card to share for today's Blog Hop. Make sure that you visit http//mycricutcraftrom.blogspot.com each day to see where to go for tomorrow's projects. I am back today with another card using Paper Wings Productions Stamp of the Month. The stamp set Funky Alphabet is 40% off for the month of February and it comes with a full color print out of sample ideas. My card was super simple to create and all I did was remove the protective film and left the letters on their backing sheet. I used my Stampin Up markers to color all the letters using Basic Black and Real Red. Once my letters were inked up I took my white panel and laid it straight down onto the stamp applying pressure evenly to the back of my panel and then carefully lifted the white cardstock away from the stamp. I layered the white panel with some black and white polka dot cardstock and then applied it to my Real Red card base. I used a chipboard heart from my stash and I colored it with my Stampin Up marker Real Red and then applied simple stick. After heating the simple stick with my heat gun I applied some fun red glitter and applied the heart to my card where the letter O was.

I love how simple this card was to create and I now have a great card to give Michael for Valentines Day! Paper Wings Productions Stamp of The Month

I was so excited when I found out that Paper Wings Productions was going to start a Stamp Of The Month special. There are two stamps that are part of the Stamp Of The Month and they both will be discounted for one month. The Pick of the Month is going to be 40% off the entire month and will also include a full color print out of sample ideas. The Monthly Release is a new stamp set that Paper Wings Productions will release and this stamp will be discounted 15% off for the month of the release. I am using papers from Amy Tangerine's Yes Please 6x6 paper pad. I cut the heart out of the wood grain pattern paper using my cricut and stamped the Love sentiment from the Valentine Wishes stamp set from Paper Wings Productions and I also used Retro Sketch #100 for inspiration.

For this months blog hop I have created two different treat/gift holders for Valentines Day using different stamps and supplies available at the Paper Wings Productions shop.

For my first treat bag I used a small glassine bag and stamped out the heart image from the stamp set Sophie in VersaMark ink and then used some Lindy's Stamp Gang Embossing Powder to heat emboss it. Once the bag cooled down I went back in and stamped out the word love that also comes from the Sophie stamp set with some brown Staz-On ink. To finish off my bag I made a simple embellishment out of tulle, pattern paper and a wood veneer from the December Nesting Components Kit.

For my next treat holder I cut two heart shapes using my Cricut and ran it through an embossing folder. I adhered the two hearts together with a little adhesive and by punching holes around the heart and stringing some twine through the holes. I used my Cricut and my punches to cut the shapes to create my flower in the center of the heart out of newspaper and then sprayed the pieces with some Lindy's Sidekick Nantucket Pearls. To finish it off I added a brad that comes in the January Nesting Components Kit and added a banner I stamped with a sentiment from the Valentine Wishes stamp set.

Paper Wings Productions February Challenge

This month at Paper Wings Productions we have so many things to share with you! First up we have the new Nesting Components kit that is filled with amazing products and you will not want to miss out on this kit!

Second we have two stamps sets that are on sale, our Stamp of The Month and our New Stamp Release! And last but not least we are starting something new at the Paper Wings Productions blog. Every month we will have a new challenge posted at the beginning of each month. These challenges will run for three weeks with the randomly selected winner posted the last week of the month! This month out challenge is sponsored by Paper Wings Productions. We will also feature one of the challenge participants on our Facebook page and our Instagram. This person will also receive a discount code to the Paper Wings Productions Shop!!

This month the challenge is "Anything Goes" and I hope you will join us! Here are a few details that go along with the challenge

Now for a look at what I created for this challenge! I used the stamp set Vintage Technololgy to stamp out the typewriter and I water colored it using some Heidi Swapp Color Shine. For the tag on my card I stamp out the Circles Pattern Backgroud Stamp in some pink Heidi Swapp Archival Ink. I also used some papers and ribbon from the January Nesting Components Kit.
