Clique Kits November Blog Share

Hello everyone and welcome to the Clique Kits November Blog Share!  You should have arrived from Gia's blog but if you did not please start the hop from the beginning HERE.  This month we are featuring the Wildflowers collection from We R Memory Keepers!  The rich colors in this kit are just gorgeous and we have one kit left to giveaway!  All you need to do is comment along the way and let us know on the Clique Kits blog that you have hopped!

Now how about we get to my project for today!  Every kit includes exclusive cut files and I wanted to showcase one today with the beautiful papers in this kit!  You can also find more cut files in the Digital Shop!
The photo I am documenting is of Eli and I at Gavin's football practice.  He usually runs around while his big bother is at practice but on this day he just wanted to sit with his mama so I had to snap a quick picture!  Capturing these little moments is something I do very often and I love to get them scrapped!  My layout is lightly embellished but I love how it turned out!  Backing the cutfile with the paper does take some time but the end result is so worth it!  I used the alpha included in the kit for my title and these Dear Lizzy gold thickers are my favorite!  I love the thin font and anything gold is just a plus!

I hope you enjoyed my layout and if you have not used the November cut files yet I hope you take some time to cut them out and get them on a layout!  Your next stop on the hop is Kim and you are going to love what she has created with the November kit!

Clique Kits October Blog Share

Hello everyone and welcome to the October Blog share!  You should have arrived from Gia's blog but if you did not please CLICK HERE to start the share from the beginning!  This month our kit featured the lovely Happy Things collection by Pinkfresh Studio!  We love anything Pinkfresh and Kinnari is always coming out with new, unique and fresh products!  We just had to use this collection in a kit!  In addition we had some fun exclusives designed by our very own Lacey Gasper!  Can you say adorable!  The cactus flair and macaroon images in the exclusives are my favorite!  We also came out with our very first stamp sets this month!  They are now available in the CK shop so pick yours up today before they are gone!  Remember you can use the 10% off code available from any varsity team member!

Today I am sharing a layout I created with an older cut file avilable in the CK shop!  You can purchase this for only $1.99 and it comes with 3 designs!  This background is one of my favorites and it is so fun to back these cut files with pattern paper from the kits!

I did keep the embellishing very light because I wanted the background and photo to stand out!  A simple title of #love with some foam Dear Lizzy Thickers from the Clique Kits shop and the layout was complete!  Adding pattern paper to the back of these cut files does take a little time but it so worth the end result!  I just love how this turned out and hope to see you create something fun with your cut files!  We have a great digital store with fun cut files and printables!  These are great to help stretch your kits!

I hope you enjoyed my layout today!  We have a fantastic hop for you today and we hope you leave today filled with inspiration!  If you are not yet part of our Facebook group we would love to have you!  Just CLICK HERE and join for a community filled with fun, laughs, inspiration and the most amazing crafters!  Your next stop on the blog share is Leeann!  Remember to leave some love along the way for your chance to win an October Kit!

Clique Kits September Blog Share

Hello everyone and welcome to the Clique Kits September Blog Share!  This month our kit featured the Hello Lovely collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

Cocoa Vanilla Studio is a new Australian scrapbooking company owned and operated by the fabulous Zoe Pearn.  If you missed the Designer in the Spotlight post with Zoe on the Clique Kits blog make sure to check it out HERE after the hop!  You should have arrived from Gia's blog but if you did not please CLICK HERE to start the blog share from the beginning!

Today I am scrapping a photo of me and all our babies!  We were heading out  for a day of fun and just as we were getting ready to pull our of the drive way my oldest son turns and looks at me and then at the back seat and says mom you have a lot of kids! OMG I just started laughing and said yes I do honey now lets take a selfie about it!  My life is crazy buzy with 5 kids and I would not have it any other way!  There are toys scattered in every room, sippy cup spills, mulitple loads of laundry to be done daily but it is my life and I am grateful for it all.  I do sit back and take it all in and know how blessed I am to have the life I have and 5 amazing babies.

I put my photo in the center of my layout because I wanted it to be center attention and then embellished all around it with bits from the kit and add ons!

You can still grab some of the September add ons in the shop!  Remember to comment along the way for your chance to win a September kit! Your next stop is Sarah!!

Clique Kits August Blog Share

Hey everyone!  So glad you could join us for the Clique Kits August Blog Share!  This  month we featured the fabulous and fruity Citrus Bliss collection from Pink Paislee!  Now who does not love pineapples right!?  Rebecca Cross sure hit this collection out of the park because it is so on trend!  Speaking of Rebecca Cross....if you have not yet read the Designer in the Spotlight post featuring Rebecca please head on over and check it out after the hop HERE!

You should have arrived from GIA'S blog but if you did not you can start the blog share from the beginning by CLICKING HERE!  Now this month's kit was so much to fun to create with!  It was however hard for me to cut into this beautiful paper at first!  That first cut is always the hardest for me!  But once the hard part was over my layouts all fell together nicely!  That is one of the best things about these kits!  Everything coordinates so beautifully it makes creating so easy!  This month we also had so many amazing add ons!  For my layout I wanted to highlight some of the August Add ons still available in the shop so lets have a look at my layout shall we!!  The photo I am documenting is of my birthday dinner and of coarse for desert I had to have my favorite...Pineapple Upside Down cake!!  I was thrilled to see this on the dessert menu for a change and I could have ordered two pieces!
To create my layout I started with the awesome Pink Paislee pineapple embossing folder! I am so in LOVE with this embossing folder!  Adding texture is so easy with this great folder!  I embossed 6 white pieces of cardstock for my layout and then adhered them to my paper.  I added some stitching for some added interest to my page and then adhered the piece to a 12x12 pattern paper from the kit!  Of coarse I did cut out the center of this paper to use on other layouts!  Simple little trick to help stretch out that paper!

I also added some fun mist and watercolors to my paper!  The Clique kits store has a variety of paints and mists to add pops of color to your projects!  And if acrylic paint is all you have then add a small dab of paint and mix with  lots of water and spatter on with a paint brush or use the packaging technique!  Super fun to help add that messing watercolor look to your page!  I also added some fun ephemera pieces around my photo that came in the kit!  You can never have enough ephemera!  For my title I did not use the alphas in the kit I pulled out my June kit alphas from My Minds Eye!  I love these alphas and I like that these alphas matched my gold thread just a little bit better than the August kit alphas!  If you did not get our June kit you can pick these fabulous alphas up in the shop HERE!

And no layout is complete without some fabulous and fresh flair and a little stamping!  This flair was designed by Clique Kits very own Lacey Gasper!  We have limited quantities of the Clique Kits Summer Flair so grab some today before they are gone!  These have been so popular we actually made another batch because of all the request from our customers!  Love Love Love them!  I also added in some stamping using the new Dear Lizzy roller date stamp!  The XOXO was a cute little touch to the layout in some aqua ink!  The CK shop now has some of the new Documentary collection from Dear Lizzy in the shop!  I hope you enjoyed my layout today!  Make sure to check out the Clique Kits store for new products!  Our September kit Capture also goes live today and and there is a ton of new product you do not want to miss!  Your next stop on the hop is Sophie!  Enjoy your day!

The First Cut

Hello!!  Wow it has been a long time since I have posted to my blog!  I really miss it!  My life has been crazy busy over the last few months.  I wanted to pop in quick and share a layout I created with the August 2014 Clique Kit!  This kit features the Citrus Bliss collection from Pink Paislee and is filled with yummy embellishments!  I also picked up a few extra add ons from the Clique Kits shop!

My layout came together pretty quickly after making the dreadful first cut!  I always have the hardest time cutting into the beautiful paper!  After trying to decide what papers I wanted to use I just decided to cut most of them into layering pieces and leaving a few of them whole.  This made it very easy to just start layering behind my photo!  I also applied some ink and mist to my white background using the packaging technique.  I love how this all came together and it is one of my favorites!  The photo was from a few weeks ago when I attended the CHA Paper Arts + show in Schaumburg IL.  I met up with one of my friends and enjoyed this fabulous drink served in a pineapple!  I knew this photo would be perfect with this kit!  Here is a look at my completed layout!

Now I hope you all agree with me on how fabulous that drink looks!  The presentation of it was fabulous!  I hope you enjoyed my layout today and I hope to be posting to my blog more often!  School will be starting soon so I will have some free time during the nap time hours of my youngest to get some crafting done!  I hope you all enjoy your day!

Clique Kits May Blog Share

Welcome to Clique Kits May blog share!  You should have arrived from the Clique Kits blog but if you were just stopping for a visit please click HERE to start the hop from the beginning!  Our May kit Carnival featured the Rise & Shine collection from the one and only Amy Tangerine.
I was able to meet Amy Tangerine at the winter CHA show and of coarse I had to get a photo with her and Jack!  Today I am sharing the layout I created using the May kit and this very special photo!

I decided on a 8.5x11 layout since I was using only one Instax photo.  I am really loving this size of layouts!  I kept it very simple and clean and I do love how it turned out!  This one will be hung up in my craft space for sure!  Amy is one of my all time favorite designers and I fall in love with everything she comes out with!  Meeting her this year was a highlight for me for sure!

Thanks so much for stopping today and I hope you enjoyed my layout using the May 2015 kit!  Your next stop is Lacey!  Please remember to comment along the way for your chance to win your own Carnival kit!  Share on Facebook for a extra chance to win!
