Clique Kits-The Cut Shoppe Team Up Blog Hop

Welcome to the Clique Kits + The Cut Shoppe Blog Hop!  You should have arrived from Michelle's Blog but if you were just dropping by please click here to start from the beginning.  We are so excited to be teaming up with The Cut Shoppe this month to bring you an amazing line up filled with tons of inspiration!  Everyone is creating with the September Clique Kit and the fabulous cut files designed by Ashley Horton owner of The Cut Shoppe!

For my project today I decided to create a mini album using my We R Memory Keepers Cinch binding machine.  Some of the cut files I used in my mini today are Borderlines Too, Just Sayin, All Around Arrows, Notebook Doddles and a few others from The Cut Shoppe.  Here is a look at my mini album.

I love creating albums that have pages of all sizes and textures.  I added the fun Pinkfresh Studio canvas pocket with a clasp and I love the look and feel it gives to my album.  I also pulled out some fun Heidi Swapp glitter stickers from my stash and I think they go perfect with this months kit!

I added a couple Studio Calico transparencies  as well to my mini album to add another texture to my project along with some embellishments from past Clique Kits.
The Yam Yellow beanboard alphas from Jillibean Soup are one of my favorite things right now!  You get a ton of them in one package and I love the look and feel of them!

I hope you enjoyed my mini album as much as I enjoyed creating it!  I had so much fun with The Cut Shoppe cut files and I re-sized them to fit my project perfectly!  The blog line up is listed below.  Please remember to comment on each blog to be entered to win a prize!  We would love for you to become a follower of The Clique Kits blog along with The Cut Shoppe's blog and also like us both on Facebook!  The Cut Shoppe is giving away at $15.00 gift certificate to their shop and Clique Kits is giving away a September prize pack filled with goodies from the September kit!  Your next stop is Michelle's Blog!  Enjoy the blog hop!

Scrappy Blog Tour

Hello Everyone!  Last week I was tagged by the amazingly talented Danielle de Konink on her Scrappy Blog Tour!  Danielle is extremely creative and talented and her layouts are always knock your socks of amazing!  I have been lucky enough to connect with Danielle through our same love for scrapbooking and creating!

Now lets get to the scrappy tour questions!

1. What am I working on right now?
This week I am working on a project for the Clique Kits and The Cut Shop blog hop on the 17th
2. How long does it take me to create a project?
Usually it takes me about an hour to complete a layout sometimes I can get one done in about 30 minutes. Mini albums take a little more time and planning.
3. What are my favorite things to create with at the moment? I love creating with my Clique Kits. I also love using stamps and starting to use more cuts from my Cameo!

4. How does my writing/creating process work?
I am inspired by the photos I am using or by the product I have to work with. I do find inspiration from Pinterest as well.
5. How do I become inspired and stay inspired?
Being involved with other crafty friends helps to keep me inspired and stay up to date on the latest trends in the scrapbooking world. There are certain blogs I follow and they always help to keep my inspired. Also Pinterest is a great place to keep the creative juices flowing
6. What is my signature style?
I do not think I have a signature style. I do like to mix it up and I find it does depend on the product I am working with.

I am tagging 3 amazing ladies who are crazy talented and who I just love to pieces!

Arielle Hemp Gordon

Jody Spiegelhoff

Lacey Gasper

Please take a moment to visit all three of these amazing ladies and say hello!

Thanks so much for stopping today!

When I thought about what I was going to be making for this months blog hop I went right to my Paper Wings Productions Halloween stamps!  I always love mixing purple in with orange, black and green to create fun Halloween cards!  The stamp sets I used are Halloween Mix it Up and Little Halloween.  If you have been following my blog for awhile now you already know how much I love Halloween!  We have a lot of fun in October and especially on Halloween!  Today I have two cards to share with you that are both using the same design but I switched up the stamp sets and embellishments on each card!

These cards will be perfect for the kids to give to their teachers with some sweet treats!  I love all the little Halloween icons in both of these stamp sets and the variety of sentiments!  I hope you are enjoying the blog hop so far and you are feeling inspired to use the color purple!  Don't forget to comment along the way for your chance to win a $25.00 gift certificate to the Paper Wings Productions shop.
