The pattern papers are from the 8x8 paper pad that comes in this months kit and are from the Creative Girl Collection by October Afternoon.  There are a lot of great colors and patterns in this paper pad that can be used in so many different ways.  For a complete list of all the Paper Wings Productions products I used and how I created my layout please head on over to my full blog post HERE.  Thanks so much for stopping today and enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

Wildflower Blog Share

Welcome to the Wildflower Blog Share! If you have arrived from Jody's blog then you are in the right place! If you are just stopping by for a visit please head on over to the Clique Kits Blog and start the hop from the beginning! Trust me you do not want to miss it!! We are excited to highlight the fabulous paper line Wildflower by Carta Bella, designed by Kaitlin Sheaffer.

Our blog share was inspired by the following quote:
May your life be like a wild flower...Growing freely in the beauty and joy of each day- Native American Proverb

Our challenge was to use something wild on our project! The Wildflower Collection of course lends itself very well to this challenge since it has so many trendy designs like florals, deer antlers, and outdoorsy Polaroids.  In keeping with Clique Kits style,  we added in some coordinating embellishments to make it our own, including some exclusive flair designed by graphic designer Lacey Igo Gasper.

I created two layouts for the blog share and I had so much fun creating with this collection.  For my first layout I used an Instagram photo of my "wild"self!  I am usually the one behind the camera so I have challenged myself last year to start being in the photos!  I used a few of the patterned papers to build up some layers behind my photo and added a few other pieces from my stash like the glassine bag!  I also used the exclusive flair created by Lacey and the wood piece is from Creative Embellishments

Next up is a layout of myself and my sweet little Gavin Isaac! He seems to make this wild and crazy face in every picture!! I just love him to pieces and can not get enough of his cuteness! I used another one of the exclusive flair created by Lacey and for my background I used this beautiful paper from the Wildflower Collection.

Next up is Lacey and she has some beautiful projects to share with you!! If you are crushing over her flair as much as we are then you will want to head on over to her shop HERE before they are gone!

We also have a fabulous prize for one randomly chosen winner who comments on all blogs and sharing on Facebook will count as an extra entry! We would also love for you to follow our blogs but it is not required for the prize drawing!

Thanks so much for stopping today and enjoy your day!

Craffiti Direct

Hello!  I hope you are all enjoying your weekend!  Are you as excited as I am to see all the new product from CHA 2014?!  My crafty sister Gia is there and I can not wait to hear all about her trip!  Today I want to share with you a super cute card using my favorite Barn Wood stamp from Craffiti Direct.  There are so many great ways to use a background stamp and today I want to share with you another way I have used this stamp.  First I started with some Hero Arts Neon Ink, some white cardstock and the Barn Wood stamp.

I stamped it out onto the white cardstock and then ran it through my Cuttlebug.  I wanted to create a fun colorful banner to go across my card and the Hero Arts Neon Ink and the Barn Wood stamp set were perfect to create a fun pattern.

After my Barn Wood shaped were cut out I die cut a few more shapes using some scrap patterned paper on my desk and finished off my card with a simple sentiment and adhered to my card base!
Craffiti Direct has a variety of fabulous stamps sets to chose from so head on over to their shop and pick some up today!  Also do not forget to like them on Facebook to stay up to date on sales, products and giveaways!!!  Thanks so much for stopping today and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Laughing Lola Blog Share

Welcome to the Laughing Lola Blog Share!  If you have arrived from Jody's blog you are in the right place.  If you are just stopping by please visit HERE to start from the beginning.

Several months ago some paper crafting friends and I started doing monthly blog shares featuring a designer paper collection, inspired by a quote, and a challenge theme. To celebrate and express gratitude for the inspiration, encouragement, and support shared with scrappy crafty friends, we host blog shares to feature projects to inspire others (and made with products we shared) ! We hope that you will connect with us and join the fun each month.

Here is the line-up of blogs you will not want to miss.

Lynn Darda
Gia Lau
Jody Spiegelhoff
Erica Thompson
Cassandra Henson

Our projects were inspired by this quote:
The challenge this month was to use a heart or a home (ie. house) in a project.
I created two projects for this share.  One mini album and one layout with a picture of my two youngest babies.  The Laughing Lola collection does have a lot of purple in it but it definitely can be used in a masculine way.  Here is a look at my mini album first.  I cut down a few of the patterned papers to different sizes and then folded them in half and layered them all together and then used my sewing machine to stitch up the middle for the spine.
I love the embellishments in the Laughing Lola collection and this camera on the cover is one of my favorites!  I also added a shipping tag on the cover from SpiegelMom Scraps Shop.
I used some acrylic paint and a paint brush to write out the word Love on this page and then used a background stamp and stamped a few different place with the same paint around the word.

Next up I have my layout to share with you using a photo of my two youngest babies.  Big brother Gavin wanted to pack up his baby brother Eli into this box and ship him out!  He was kind enough to include Eli's cup of juice in the box with them!  I love my days with my babies and their wild and crazy days!  I always try to capture as much as I can of them so they have these memories to look back at!

Thank you so much for stopping today!  I hope you enjoyed my project shares!  Your next stop is

For a chance to win a CTMH My Acrylix "Lots of Love" stamp set you will need to leave a comment on each of the participants' blogs. Paper Wings Productions January Blog Hop

WELCOME to the Paper Wing Productions Design Team Blog Hop & Giveaway!  If you've arrived here from Dana's blog, then you're in the right place.  If you’re just stopping by for a visit, please CLICK HERE to start from the beginning.

We have come up with a fun challenge for 2014.  Each month our designers will be given a challenge of creating their projects using a certain color scheme.  This month our theme is White.  It will be so much fun to see how each designer interprets the color.  Go grab your favorite snack, get comfortable and enjoy the hop.

The main prize is a $25.00 gift certificate to the Paper Wings Productions online store.

For a chance to win all you need to do is:
  • be a follower of the Paper Wings Productions blog
  • visit each of the participating designer's blogs and leave a comment
  • come back and leave us a comment on the pwp blog telling us you completed the hop.
To increase your chances of winning: like our Facebook page and/or invite your friends to the hop.  Be sure to leave a separate comment for each of your additional entries. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, January 7th, 2014 on the Paper Wings Productions blog.

When I think of White I think of simple, clean, fresh and of coarse weddings!  I have created two simple and clean cards that would be perfect to give to celebrate a wedding!  I used one stamp from the Paper Wings Productions stamp set A Banner Day for both of my cards.  For my first card I used a white card base and then ran a white panel through a polka dot embossing folder.  I ran it through twice so that I could leave a strip of the panel nice and flat for some stamping and added two thin strips of glitter paper above and below my sentiment.  To finish off my card I added two white enamel dots and popped the layer up from the card base with some pop dots.

My second card also uses a white card base and I ran the whole panel through the same polka dot embossing folder.  Next I cut a white piece of cardstock into a banner shape and stamped the sentiment along the whole piece starting in the middle and working my way up and then down to create a ombre effect using the stamping off technique.  To finish off the card I added two strips of glitter paper along the sides of my banner and tied a bow at the top of the banner.

I hope you enjoyed all the fabulous projects today and have been inspired to create!  We want to thank you for hopping with us today and make sure to head back over to Paper Wings Productions blog to leave a comment for your chance to win!
