Clique Kits October Blog Share

Welcome to the Clique Kits October Blog Share!  You should have arrived from Jody's blog but if you are just stopping by I would love for you to start the blog share from the beginning HERE.  We have an amazing line up today so I am going to keep this short and sweet so you can check out the rest of the blog share!

This month's kit features Basic Grey's Second City collection designed by the one and only Kelly Purkey.  Kelly was this month Designer in the Spotlight and you can ready more about her HERE.  I love the colors in this collection and they could be used to document a variety of things!  For the layout I created I used a photo I captured of our son in his underoos playing his big brothers handheld video game.  This was the beginning of his love for video games!

Your next stop in the blog share is the fabulous Lacey Gasper!  If you are new to Clique Kits, we would love for you to get to know us better! This month our theme is “black”.  Join us in hopping along along each designer’s blog to see what they have created.  Since it is October and black is one of the colors that reminds me of Halloween I have created a Halloween layout using a variety of products from Paper Wings Productions.  I started off with some gesso in behind my layers and used the Line of Chevron Mask with some color mists.  Once that was dry I added in some Art Texture stamps and then began adding my layers and embellishments.

I love the Paper Wings Productions Halloween stamps and they offer a huge variety of them in their shop.  I also used the Perfect Numbers stamp set to stamp the Month and year this photo was taken.  I pulled out some scraps that I had left over from my October 2013 Mixed Media kit (which sold out quickly) as well as last month kit.  I hope enjoyed my project for today's blog hop!

It's time to send you off hopping; your first stop will be Dana's blog, so click here to get started.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR JOINING US TODAY!!
