Thank you so much for hopping with us today I am very excited to be sharing a super simple project today that first started out just being a single card but then lead into a gift bag, card and tags!  I just could not stop creating with my Paper Wings Productions stamps!  I started with my card and used the stamp sets Holiday Tags and Christmas Mix It Up.
After creating my card I realized I wanted to add this to the front of a bag and give it as a gift so I ran up to my kitchen grabbed a paper lunch sack and first ran it through my Cuttlebug to add some embossed polka dots to the bag.  Next I took some decorative scissors and trimmed off the top of the bag and then began adding a few stamped images from Holiday Mix It Up, Holiday Tags and Snowman Love.  I then cut a slit in the bag so I could then slip the card in and it would be displayed nicely on the front of the bag!  This bag will be perfect to package up some sweet holiday treats for Christmas and some handmade tags to go on the treat bags is just the perfect touch!  The Holiday Tags stamp set is the perfect set to help you create and customize your very own tags!  After adding my treats and tags to the inside of the bag I finished it off with a some ribbon that I tied in a bow and I now have a beautiful handmade gift to give this holiday season!

Thank you all so much for stopping today I hope you enjoyed my project and it has you in the mood to create something special!  The Paper Wings Productions shop has just what you need to make your holiday projects sparkle so make sure to head on over and check them out after you hop!  Your next stop is IRIT'S blog and you are going to love what she has to share with you all today!!  Enjoy!

Happy Holidays

Hello friends!  I am excited to be sharing with you another card using the fabulous stamps from Craffiti Direct.  If you missed my post a couple weeks ago on how I received 2 free stamp sets from Craffiti Direct please check it out HERE!  I am also proud and excited to announce that I will be a regular blogger for Craffiti Direct and will be posting a couple times a month!  There is something exciting coming soon so stay tuned and make sure you follow them and like them on FACEBOOK!  For today's card I used the lovely background stamp BARNWOOD and a holiday sentiment from CUTE CHRISTMAS.  I stamped the background stamp in Cherry Cobbler ink from Stampin Up and stamped it onto white cardstock. I then added a great glittery snowflake that I die cut with a Stampin Up die and adhered it to a black card base.
I love that it is simple, pretty, and festive all in one card!  There are so many great possibilities with the BARNWOOD background stamp!  If you are unfamiliar with Craffiti Direct please head on over to there online shop HERE!  You will find great stamps that are reasonably priced and have been made exclusively in the USA!  You can also find them on PINTEREST so make sure you follow them for some amazing inspiration!  Thank you all so much for stopping today and I hope you enjoyed my card using Craffiti Direct stamps!

Craffiti Direct is in the house!

I love when I find a new company that I just love!  Recently while on Facebook I found a new stamp company called Craffiti Direct!  I immediately fell in love with all of their stamps!  I will admit that I am more of a scrapper and mini album maker than a card maker and I did not use my stamps as much as I should!  But I have been cranking out cards like crazy these days!  I have also been using a ton more stamps on my layouts and in my mini books!! Craffiti Direct recently posted on their Facebook page for their fans to share their page with others and if anyone could get at 10 or more friends to like their page they would get 2 stamp sets of their choice! Well I went right to work inviting all my crafty friends that I knew would love their stamps as much as I do and guess what I won and I got to pick two free stamp sets!  Fabulous!!  The stamps I chose were Barn Wood and Cute Christmas Today I wanted to share one of the cards I created with the Cute Christmas stamp set.  I used the sketch from Day 20 of Memory Works 30 Days, 30 Cards.

How seriously cute is this Christmas tree!  I added a little of my glitter pen to the outline of the stamp to add just a little bit of sparkle and some stickles on the star!  Please head on over to Craffitti Direct and check out all the amazing stamps they have to offer and do not forget to head on over to their FACEBOOK page and like their page!  Tell them Erica Rose sent you and share with all your crafty friends!  Who knows maybe you will be the next one to receive some fabulous stamps!  I will be back next week to show you what I have created with the stamp set Barnwood!  Thanks so much for stopping today and enjoy your day!!

Heidi Swapp Mixed Company Blog Share

"The world is round so that friendship may encircle it."

Thank you so much for joining us in our 2nd Blog Share!  You should have made your way from Jody's blog.  If this is your first stop please head on over to GIA at The Painted Crane This month we are featuring products from Heidi Swapps Mixed Company and Color Magic lines!  I can not get enough of this Color Magic paper!!  It is so much fun to work with the Color Magic and Heidi Swapps Color Shine.  The Color Shine comes in so many colors there are endless possibilities with this stuff!!  If you have not yet got your hands on some Color Shine and Color Magic I highly suggest putting this at the top of your wish lists friends!!  The first project I want to share with you is actually the last project I completed and I think it is one of my favorites because it was super easy, fun and quick!  I took one 12x12 piece of Color Magic added three different colors of Color Shine (Sweet Cherry Mint Green and Mustard) to it and once it was dry I cut it down to 6 fronts measuring 5 1/4x4 I then took some of my favorite Heidi Swapp stickers and added simple sentiments to the card fronts!  I then adhered 3 of these to black card bases to create simple but O so super cute cards!

I also now have three card fronts ready to go whenever needed!  Next up I have a very special layout I created using one of the photos taken while attending one of Heidi's classes at Hannah's Home Accents!  What an amazing experience meeting HEIDI SWAPP!  She truly is the sweetest!  I knew I had to scrap this photo and this layout will be going in frame and hung up in my craft space!

My last two projects are mini albums of coarse!  I am a mini album lover and I just can not get enough of them!  I love that my babies are going to have boxes filled with all these albums of documented memories!  All the big and little moments in life, hand written journaling, photos, receipts, letters, all kinds of great stuff for them to enjoy and to pass on to their kids!  My first album is of our sweet baby Eli James!  I used the Mixed Company Fotostack to create my album adding an extra flap to the cover so I could journal on the other side.  I added Instagrams of Eli that I have taken this year with little bits and prices of ephemera here and there and even pulled out some of my Heidi Swapp stickers I had in my stash.  I love how her lines can easily be mixed and matched so well!  I also used my Epiphany Crafts tool to help hold my ribbon closure and the royal blue sequins on the cover are from JODY at SpiegelMom Scraps.

Now let me just share with you why I created this last project!  You all know those plastic photo sleeves that come in your wallet?  Well I am always using them for the kids school pictures or sports photos because we all know we end up with a ton of wallet sized photos!  I wanted something pretty to have in my purse to hold my kids photos!  So when someone asked to see photos of my kids I can show them the photos in something nice and pretty and not just a flimsy plastic photo sleeve in my wallet!  Take a look at what I created!

How stinkin cute is this little mini photo album!?  There is even room for three more photos once the last page is turned!  The base of this album is made using one piece of 12x12 cardstock and is super simple to create!  Thank you all so much for stopping today and being a part of our 2nd Blog Share!  A huge thank you to Gia for putting together this whole idea of the Blog Shares and for putting together these fabulous kits!!  Make sure you head on over to JENN'S blog and see what amazing things she has put together with her kit full of Heidi's amazing products!  Here is a look at the upcoming blog share schedule
