Craffiti Direct is in the house!

I love when I find a new company that I just love!  Recently while on Facebook I found a new stamp company called Craffiti Direct!  I immediately fell in love with all of their stamps!  I will admit that I am more of a scrapper and mini album maker than a card maker and I did not use my stamps as much as I should!  But I have been cranking out cards like crazy these days!  I have also been using a ton more stamps on my layouts and in my mini books!! Craffiti Direct recently posted on their Facebook page for their fans to share their page with others and if anyone could get at 10 or more friends to like their page they would get 2 stamp sets of their choice! Well I went right to work inviting all my crafty friends that I knew would love their stamps as much as I do and guess what I won and I got to pick two free stamp sets!  Fabulous!!  The stamps I chose were Barn Wood and Cute Christmas Today I wanted to share one of the cards I created with the Cute Christmas stamp set.  I used the sketch from Day 20 of Memory Works 30 Days, 30 Cards.

How seriously cute is this Christmas tree!  I added a little of my glitter pen to the outline of the stamp to add just a little bit of sparkle and some stickles on the star!  Please head on over to Craffitti Direct and check out all the amazing stamps they have to offer and do not forget to head on over to their FACEBOOK page and like their page!  Tell them Erica Rose sent you and share with all your crafty friends!  Who knows maybe you will be the next one to receive some fabulous stamps!  I will be back next week to show you what I have created with the stamp set Barnwood!  Thanks so much for stopping today and enjoy your day!!

Heidi Swapp Mixed Company Blog Share

"The world is round so that friendship may encircle it."

Thank you so much for joining us in our 2nd Blog Share!  You should have made your way from Jody's blog.  If this is your first stop please head on over to GIA at The Painted Crane This month we are featuring products from Heidi Swapps Mixed Company and Color Magic lines!  I can not get enough of this Color Magic paper!!  It is so much fun to work with the Color Magic and Heidi Swapps Color Shine.  The Color Shine comes in so many colors there are endless possibilities with this stuff!!  If you have not yet got your hands on some Color Shine and Color Magic I highly suggest putting this at the top of your wish lists friends!!  The first project I want to share with you is actually the last project I completed and I think it is one of my favorites because it was super easy, fun and quick!  I took one 12x12 piece of Color Magic added three different colors of Color Shine (Sweet Cherry Mint Green and Mustard) to it and once it was dry I cut it down to 6 fronts measuring 5 1/4x4 I then took some of my favorite Heidi Swapp stickers and added simple sentiments to the card fronts!  I then adhered 3 of these to black card bases to create simple but O so super cute cards!

I also now have three card fronts ready to go whenever needed!  Next up I have a very special layout I created using one of the photos taken while attending one of Heidi's classes at Hannah's Home Accents!  What an amazing experience meeting HEIDI SWAPP!  She truly is the sweetest!  I knew I had to scrap this photo and this layout will be going in frame and hung up in my craft space!

My last two projects are mini albums of coarse!  I am a mini album lover and I just can not get enough of them!  I love that my babies are going to have boxes filled with all these albums of documented memories!  All the big and little moments in life, hand written journaling, photos, receipts, letters, all kinds of great stuff for them to enjoy and to pass on to their kids!  My first album is of our sweet baby Eli James!  I used the Mixed Company Fotostack to create my album adding an extra flap to the cover so I could journal on the other side.  I added Instagrams of Eli that I have taken this year with little bits and prices of ephemera here and there and even pulled out some of my Heidi Swapp stickers I had in my stash.  I love how her lines can easily be mixed and matched so well!  I also used my Epiphany Crafts tool to help hold my ribbon closure and the royal blue sequins on the cover are from JODY at SpiegelMom Scraps.

Now let me just share with you why I created this last project!  You all know those plastic photo sleeves that come in your wallet?  Well I am always using them for the kids school pictures or sports photos because we all know we end up with a ton of wallet sized photos!  I wanted something pretty to have in my purse to hold my kids photos!  So when someone asked to see photos of my kids I can show them the photos in something nice and pretty and not just a flimsy plastic photo sleeve in my wallet!  Take a look at what I created!

How stinkin cute is this little mini photo album!?  There is even room for three more photos once the last page is turned!  The base of this album is made using one piece of 12x12 cardstock and is super simple to create!  Thank you all so much for stopping today and being a part of our 2nd Blog Share!  A huge thank you to Gia for putting together this whole idea of the Blog Shares and for putting together these fabulous kits!!  Make sure you head on over to JENN'S blog and see what amazing things she has put together with her kit full of Heidi's amazing products!  Here is a look at the upcoming blog share schedule

Sleepy Heads

Hello!  It has been awhile since I have created a layout!  I have been busy making all kinds of cards and other projects that my layouts have been pushed aside again!  Today I have a layout of my two youngest babies sleeping all snuggled together.  They of coarse are in mom and dads bed in the middle taking up all the room but I would not have it any other way!  They are only small once and it goes by so fast!  I used papers from Teresa Collins Memorabilia line that I picked up when I took her class at Hannahs Home Accents.  Here is a look at my completed layout!

I love how my layout turned out and my favorite part about this layout, besides the photo of coarse, is the journaling!  I seem to always hide my hand written journaling on a tag tucked behind the photo or in a pocket or I just do not add it to the layout.  I am trying my hardest to use my handwriting to journal so when my kids look back on their scrapbooks they will always have my writing.  Do you like to add your hand writing to your projects?  Please share I would love to know how you all journal!  I hope you enjoyed my layout today and thanks so  much for stopping!

Another Tutorial Tuesday!

Hello Friends!  Today I am up on the Paper Wings Productions blog for Tutorial Tuesday pairing the Ephiphany Crafts Round Shape Maker and the fabulous stamps from Paper Wings Productions.  I picked some of my favorite holiday papers from Heidi Swapps BELIEVE collection and created this fun Christmas card using on of the round shapes I created with the Ephipany crafts tool and my PWP stamps.  Make sure you head on over to the PWP blog HERE to watch my tutorial video!  Here is a look at my finished card
I used Day 10 Sketch from Memory Works 30 Days, 30 Cards.  I have been keeping up with this challenge and I am having so much fun with all of the sketches they are providing.

This card is going to be perfect to hide a little gift card inside the front pocket I created on the front of this card!  The bow on my card is made from my favorite silky crush ribbon from Amuse Studio and is in the color Vanilla!  I wonder how well my Heidi Swapp color shine sprays would take on this ribbon?!  I think I have some testing out to do very soon with this ribbon!!  I hope you enjoyed my card today and do not forget to head on over to the PWP blog!  If you create something great with your Ephiphany crafts tool please share with me HERE on Facebook!

RCS #57

Hello everyone!  I hope you are all getting a little crafty this weekend!  I know I have been creating all kinds of great projects and now I really need to get my craft desk cleaned off because it is a complete disaster but I guess that's what happens when you jump from project to project without cleaning up in between!  Today it is time to share a new challenge over at Red Carpet Studio and this challenge is inspired by the movie Charlie Browns Thanksgiving and the challenge is to create a food themed project.
With the holidays approaching so quickly I have been busy creating cards and gift cards so I thought
I could create one with this cute digi image and sentiment from Sweet and Sassy Stamps!
This week we have a fabulous prize from our sponsor Your Next Stamp!  I hope to see you all linking up your yummy projects this week at Red Carpet Studio.

Thanks so much for stopping today and I hope you enjoy your day!

Saturday Card Share

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend so far!  I am back to share another Christmas card and I am using the sketch provided for Day 4 of Memory Works 30 Days, 30 Cards.

I love this sketch so much and I thought it would be great with some papers from Heidi Swapp's Believe Collection.  If you still have not had a chance to take a look at this beautiful collection I suggest you hurry up and do so because it is selling like crazy!!  I did add a fun bow at the top of my card using some cream colored seam binding and I added a tab with the word celebrate on it that is from the Believe Ephemera Pack but other than that I stuck to the sketch!  Why mess with something that already looks great!  Here is a look at my finished card!

I hope you will join my in the Memory Works 30 Days, 30 Cards it is a great way to get your holiday cards started and one lucky participant will win a prize!  Check out all the details HERE!  Enjoy your day friends!
