Clique Kits May Blog Share

Welcome to the May Pep Rally!  If you  have arrived from Jody's blog then you are in the right place.  If you are just stopping for a visit please head on over to the Clique Kits blog and start the Pep Rally from the beginning.  This month we are featuring projects using the May 2014 Clique Kit Field Trip.  This kit features the line As You Wish by Fancy Pants Designs!

I wanted to play along with the sketch challenge from Fancy Pants Designs that is featured in their new newsletter!  In case you missed it our very own Gia Lau is the featured designer for their May newsletter so be sure to check it out HERE!  Here is a look at my layout using the sketch provided in the Fancy Pants newsletter.

For my next project I put together a mini album filled with photos of our youngest baby Eli James and his many adventures.  The cover photo was just taken yesterday as we were leaving the doctors office.  He is getting so big he likes to walk on his own now and carry his own bag like a big boy!  I had to photograph this time and document it.  Time goes by way to fast and I want to remember every bit of it!  If you have been to my blog before you know how much I love to make minis!  I used the new We R Memory Keepers Evolution machine to die cut some of the papers from the kit for the pages of my album.  The machine came with some great dies that were perfect to create my pages.  Next all I needed to do was add some layers, my photos and embellish my pages!

Thanks so much for spending some time with me today!  You next stop is Lacey and you are going to love what she has to share with you!  Remember to leave comments along the way, follow the Clique Kits blog and Facebook for your chance to win the Wish You Were Here stamp set by Lawn Fawn and a roll of green chevron washi tape!

Here is a look at the card I created for this Anything Goes Challenge!
I stamped out the starts in a variety of Distress ink colors and then used a paint brush to add some splatters of water.  I got this idea from Jennifer MaGuire and here is the link to her video.  Next I stamped out the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Happy Clear Stamp from Paper Wings Productions and then added a few black sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps Shop!  Right now she has a code to her Etsy shop for 25% off using the code NSD25.  Thanks so much for stopping today I can not wait to see what you link up this month!

7Dots Studio Collection - One collection of your choice.  Chose from the following: Nature Walk, Illumination or Cold Country (International winners may have to pay an extra shipping fee)

I am so excited about this blog hop with Nani Ke Ola!  We each used one of the 7Dots Studio Collections available in the Nani Ke Ola shop and I choose Messy Head!  I loved the papers in this collection and the quality is fantastic!  I wanted to document the friendship and love of my daughter and one of her older brothers.  They are a few years apart but they have always had an amazing bond!  He watches out for her and he has a very tender spot in his heart for her!  If she is upset or hurt he has always been right there to make sure everything is ok.  It is the sweetest thing and their friendship melts me heart!  Here is a look at my layout using the Messy Head collection.

You can see I also used some of my favorite Paper Wings Productions Stamps including the Big Textures stamp set and of coarse the Detail Framer stamp set!  The wood triangles are from my favorite embellishment company Creative Embellishments!  All I did was add some adhesive to the triangles and then attach them to some of the pattern paper from the Messy Head collection.  I love the distressed look of this collection and that it has the look of ink splatters!  I can not wait to get my hands on more 7Dots Studio products!  Make sure to head on over to Nani Ke Ola Scrapbooking to see the wide variety of 7Dots Studio and many other lines!

Okay, it's time to send you off to your next stop so head on over to Agnes's Blog!

Inspired By...

Hello and Happy May Day!!!  Today I am up on the Clique Kits blog sharing a layout I created using Simple Stories collections A Charmed Life!  These collections packs and also the simple sets from Simple Stories make it easy to create projects because everything is included and coordinate beautifully!  We have a variety of Simple Stories products in the Clique Kits Store!

Recently I have been inspired by some layouts I have seen on Pinterest.  They all have a grid like look to them but they all vary in style!  You can check out my Inspired By board to have a look at these fabulous layouts!  I love how they are either grouped in the center of the layout of some of them will go vertically down the page!

To create my layout I used mainly the cut apart sheets that come in the Simple Stories A Charmed Life collection pack.  This made it quick and easy to complete my layout and add layers with out a whole lot of fuss!  Here are a couple peeks at my layout that was inspired by my Pinterest Board.

I would love for you to head on over to the Clique Kits blog and see my full blog post HERE!  Thanks so much for stopping today and have a wonderful day!
