Clique Kits August Blog Share

Welcome to the Clique Kits August Blog Share!  This month we are featuring the amazing My Minds Eye collection Market Street Ashbury Heights designed by Jen Allyson!  You should have arrrived from Jody's Blog but in case you did not please Click Here and start the blog share from the beginning!

I have two projects to share with you today using the August 2014 Clique Kit Glam Camp.  First up is layout I created using a piece of white cardstock from my stash as my base.  I added lots of layers behind my photo and also added in a few embellishments from past kit!

For my next project I have created a fun spiral bound mini album!  I absolutely love mini albums and using my Cinch machine from We R Memory Keepers makes them super quick and easy to bind!  I have not yet added my photos to my mini since I am hoping to get one more camping trip in this year before we pack up the tent for the season!  Here is a look at my mini so far!

Thanks so much for stopping today!  I hope you have enjoyed the blog share so far!  Your next stop is Lacey and you are going to love what she has created using the Glam Camp kit!

Retrosketches #127

Happy Saturday!  It is time for a new sketch over at Retrosketches!  This weeks sketch is based off this card by Jenni!  Here is a look at this weeks sketch #127!

I pulled out my August Clique Kit and had some creating a card with this sketch as my inspiration!  This month kit features the beautiful Market Street by My Minds Eye designed by Jen Allyson.  Here is a look at my finished card.

The feather I used in my card is one of the digital cuts that comes with the August 2014 Clique Kit and I cut it out of some vellum cardstock from Stampin Up.  I also added some Market Street enamel dots that are also available in the Clique Kits shop and you can get them for 25% off with promo code AUGUST25.  I hope to see you all link up this week using this sketch!  If you love challenges as much as I do then after linking up to Retrosketches head on over to Paper Wings Productions and link up to their Anything Goes challenge for your chance to win a $25.00 gift certificate to Nani Ke Ola Scrapbooking!  Thanks so much for stopping and enjoy your day!

Busy Backgrounds with Clique Kits

Hey Everyone!  Today I am up on the Clique Kits blog sharing a layout I created using the August 2014 kit Glam Camp!  This kit features the Market Street Ashbury Heights collection from My Minds Eye designed by Jen Allyson.  You can pick this kit up for single purchase in the Clique Kits store HERE and use the promo code AUGUST25 to receive 25% off you total!  Here is a look at my layout!
I challenged myself to use a busier pattern paper for my background since I tend to stay away from them and use a more plain layout base.  I love how it turned out and added a few other products from the Clique Kits store to complete the layout!  The My Minds Eye enamel dots are just beautiful and I love that they added gold enamel dots in this pack!  You can also get these for 25% off using the promo code AUGUST25!  They are almost sold out so act fast!  To see some close up shots of my layout and for a list of products used in this layout check out my full blog post HERE!  Thanks so much for stopping today and enjoy your day!!

Let's get to my project shall we!  First let me start with saying that black is really my number one favorite but I wanted to create something bright today so I went with my second favorite and that is aqua and I did add a little black into my card as well as a little pink!  I used the Under the Weather stamp set which is a newer stamp set in the Paper Wings Productions shop and one of my favorites.  I stamped out the umbrellea in this stamp set and colored it in with some markers.  I fussy cut it out and popped it up onto this frame that I stamped out from the Details Framer stamp set and then cut out.  The chevron background was created using an Um Wow Studio Line of Chevron stencil that is also a newer item in the PWP shop.  I applied some molding paste that came in my June Nesting Components kit but first added some ink to the paste for some color!  I think this card would make anyone under the weather feel just a litlle bit better!  What do you think?

I hope you enjoyed my card today and make sure you check out the stamp set I used today in the Paper Wings Productions shop HERE.  It is filled with super cute images and great sentiments!  It's time to send you off to your next stop so head on over to Dana's blog!
