We love to have "Movie Night" in our home and it is nice to have sweet treats to eat while enjoying the movie!  So for my project I have created a popcorn box filled with sweet treats!  I used my Cricut Artiste cartridge to cut out my popcorn box with some paper from Fancy Pants The Good Life collection.  I also used this Cricut cartridge to cut out all of the other elements on my popcorn box.  I wrapped some May Arts red burlap string from SpiegelMom Scrap Shop around my popcorn box and then tied in a tiny bow.  I then filled this super sweet box with yummy treats and used one the digi elements from Designs on Cloud 9  to create a treat bag topper.

Let's Scrap

Can you believe August is almost over!  This is my last month as Design Team Member over at Let's Scrap and my last sketch and layout to share with you as a DT Member!  I will definitely continue to use their amazing sketches and share them with you all on my blog from time to time!  If you have not already joined their fabulous community please head on over and join!  You will not regret it!  This week our sketch is sponsored by Scrapbook Studio.
To be entered into this weeks draw you must post your layout/card no later than September 3, 2013 at 11:59 pm (by the main page clock).  Here is a look at this weeks Let's Scrap sketch!
I used the right side of this weeks sketch as my inspiration and came up with this layout of my fancy little wild child!

You can see that I only used one photo because like I have said before scrapping one photo is just my kind of layout.  I did not follow this weeks sketch exactly but I used it for my inspiration and turned into my own.  I loved the placement of the large photo so I did use that and I really like the large title on the side and  I just turned mine in a different direction than what the sketch shows.  I love this Instagram of my daughter that I took last week.  She had just had her hair curled by my friends daughter and they put a little light make-up on her and gave her a pair of their sunglasses!  She is such a tomboy but she still loves to dress up and look a little fancy from time to time!  She is growing up way to fast for this mama!  I used some Maggie Holmes that I had left over and a few bits and pieces of different things that were on my desk, stamps from Paper Wings Productions, and of coarse my favorite Thickers!  I thank you so much for stopping and I enjoy reading all of your comments!  Thanks so much for all the bloggy love!!  Have a Fancy day!!

My Craft Space

I am back this week over at Memory Works with another Guest Designer post!  This week I am sharing a little of my craft space.  Last year I posted my space and you can check that out HERE!  Not much has changed but I have added a few things that I love!  First off is my new table that I work on!  I had one desk before that I shared with my computer and it was not enough room for my to work at!  I need to be able to spread my materials out in front of me!  So I picked this used table up for 10.00 and I love it!
As you can see it is nice and clean for the photo!  To the right of my desk I have a fabulous cart from Ikea that I am so in love with!  It holds so much and I can wheel it around my craft area!  They are available in aqua or black and I of coarse had to get the aqua one!
Is this the cutest little cart ever?  You can pick these up at Ikea for about 50.00 and they are nice and sturdy so I think it is worth the money!  I also have a white book shelf in my craft space that holds my cardstock, thickers, completed cards, current albums, Close to My Heart stamps, and some boxes waiting to be altered!  I am thinking I am going to need a taller book shelf very soon!
The next few photos are off a few different storage spaces for my crafty supplies.  You can see some of the storage boxes are from 31 gifts and I so love these containers!  They fit my paper packs and dies perfectly!  The clear container is from Target and I believe it is a drawer organizer and the last photo is an old Pepsi crate that I hold my paints and twine in!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed a look into my crafty space!

Let's Scrap 8-14-13

I can not believe it is Wednesday already and time another Let's Scrap sketch!  This summer has gone by so quickly!  Is it just me or does the time fly by so much faster as you get older?  It is already time for one of my babies to head back to school today!  First day of High School for my oldest son and it makes me a little sad to see him go!  I know he will love it but my baby is turning into such a young man!  Well the first day of school means a ton of photos and he is going to be so embarrassed as he gets on the bus in the morning and his mother has her camera out taking photos!!  He will thank me when he is older for having all these moment captured!  Well onto this weeks sketch from Let's Scrap!  Its is a great sketch and I had a lot of fun creating my layout using this sketch!

I used the right side of the sketch and actually scrapped 3 photos on one page!!  Yay me!  I am normally a one photo, one page scrapper but I had to scrap this mini photo shoot I did of Eli James.  He is our little sweet heart and he does not mind me snapping photos....yet.  I used my stash of Fancy Pants Designs The Good Life and I am very close to using it all up!  And you all know what that means!  Time to make room for some new lines in my craft space!  Our sponsor this week is Scrap It Design Studio and they are giving our randomly chosen winner this fabulous prize!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!  I enjoy reading the bloggy love you leave me and appreciate it very much!

Good Times

Hello Friends!  I hope you have all been enjoying your weekend and have been able to get some crafting in!  I have had a great weekend with my family and I am loving the weather!  Yesterday we had a late lunch at Red Robin and then did some back to school shopping!  If you do not already know,  we have 5 children so back to school shopping is always a big deal!  Only 3 of them are in school but I always have to buy the 2 younger babies something as well because it is only fair!  After a long shopping trip we came home enjoyed some ice cream, put the babies to bed and watched Olympus Has Fallen with our oldest son.  I of coarse fell asleep after the movie for about a half hour and woke up energized and ready to work out and then get crafty!  I am such a night owl so this is very typical for me to be up till 3:00a.m.  I created a layout with a photo I had put on Instagram a couple weeks ago of my good friend and I.   We had movie night with our guys and we had the best time!  We hit the video store, rented some comedy shows and ordered in some fabulous food and of coarse a couple drinks.  We were laughing so hard we had tears rolling down our cheeks!  Good times need to be documented so I knew this picture we took had to be scraped and journaled!  We took this picture in the kitchen and we could not stop laughing!  I think we had them take about 10 different picture until we could agree on one that we liked!  You would swear we were a bunch of high school kids!  I used my Heidi Swapp stash of goodies to create my layout and a white 12x12 as my base.  I used my stencils and mists and also used my white pigment ink pad with the stencil to add some life to the white cardstock!  I just love to get messy don't you??  Here is a look at my layout
Like I have said before I just can not get enough of my Heidi Swapp Sugar Chic paper pad!  I did add a couple things in this layout from her other lines as well!  I love how they can all go together!  Thanks so much for stopping today and I hope you enjoyed my layout!  Enjoy the rest of your day!

Neon Ink

Hello Friends!  I am here to share with you a card a made using Hero Arts Neon Ink!  I love these inks and they have been sitting in my cart for a couple months now and I have not done a thing with them in awhile!  So I picked them up and started to play around with them!  I created a fun background using a circle stamp that came in my August Simon Says Stamp card kit and an eraser tip from a pencil.
I used three different ink colors, Neon Pink, Neon Yellow and Neon Orange!

I started with the yellow and stamped it out on my card once to get the brightest color and then stamped it out again to get a lighter shade.  I did this with all three colors and ended up with this fun and bright background.

I love the way it turned out and wanted to keep the card I created with it pretty simple so that the background was the main focus!  I added a couple stamps from the Simon Says Stamp set Card-Exchanging Friends and a couple stars from Heidi Swapp and called it done!

I hope you enjoyed my card and if you have not yet tried out the neon inks give them a try because they are so much fun!
