Let's Scrap 6-5-13

Wow I can not believe it is Wednesday already!  Time sure is going by so quickly for me this week!  My oldest son is back from his Washington trip and he had an amazing time and took some great photos!  This week I am getting everything ready for his graduation party this weekend and keeping my fingers crossed from some nice weather!  Today it is time for another Let's Scrap sketch and this week we have a fabulous sketch!

I love this sketch and was so excited to put my layout together!  I lifted the left  side of the sketch and used my Heartstring Designs May Housecalls Kit!  I love the vintage feel of this kit and can not believe how much product comes in this kit!  I have completed three layouts and two cards so far out of this kit and have a ton of product left to use!  Here is a look at my layout this week..

Favorite Tools

Hello my bloggy friends!  I hope you all had a great weekend!  Did you get some time to get crafty this weekend!!??  I am here today with a Favorite Tool post!  I have not done when for awhile so I thought today was a good day!  One tool that I love and I have been using a lot lately is my Stampin Up Simply Scored!

 I use this when creating my cards, making rosettes and varies other projects!  This score board base fits up to 12x12 cardstock and has two easy to read rulers.  There are nonskid feet on the bottom so it sits well on your workspace and comes with a stylus and 3 markers.  What score board do you like to use?  I would love to hear what you use or if you have a SU simply scored what do you think of it?  Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you all have a great start to your week!

Bloggy Love

Happy Saturday!  I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend so far!  Today I have a 3x3 card and blog candy treat bag to share with you!  I have a few packages going out to some fabulous bloggy friends and I thought it would be the perfect time to use my stamp set from Pink By Design!  Here is a look at the stamp set Blog Love....

The sentiments are to cute and I am so happy with the quality of the stamps!  They stamp out beautifully!  Here is a look at my card and treat bag filled with all kinds of crafty goodness!

Friday Card Share

It is Friday crafty friends and I am so looking forward to getting time at my desk this weekend! Today I have another card to share with you that I created using my May Simon Says Stamp Card Kit!  These card kits are fabulous and you get so much product for a great price!!  If you have been thinking of subscribing to a card kit I highly recommend SSS card kits!  Here is a look at my card 

Everything I used to make this card came  from the May SSS card kit.  I love the colors in this kit and the stamp is simply adorable!! This month the kit came with some liquid pearls which I added to my card and some lovely trim from Websters Pages that I can not wait to use!! Watch out Washington..

This week is flying by and tonight I am sending my oldest off to Washington D.C. for a world strides trip!  He and about 25 other classmates will be boarding a bus to Washington and they have a jam packed itinerary!  I will miss him so very much but so happy he has this opportunity to go!  I created this card to stick in his suitcase for him to find when he arrives in Washington!  Just a little note to tell him how much I love him and how proud he makes me!  I used the Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit to create this card.  This kit comes with an exclusive Kelly Purkey stamp set that is just to cute and perfect for masculine cards!  Here is a look at my card...

Let's Scrap 5-29-13

It is Wednesday and time for another Let's Scrap sketch!  Here is a look at this weeks sketch...

I decided to scrap some photos from my oldest son's 13th birthday!  He went to Florida with his dad last year for his birthday and he took a bunch of photos with his iPhone and I printed a few out to add to my layout!  I used papers and stamps from Close to My Heart and I actually created a two page layout!!  I kept this layout pretty basic and clean and did not add to many layers or embellishments like I normally would do but I think it turned out nice!

Here is my card I created using two digi stamps from Paper Pretties!!
