Welcome to Day 2 of Ashley's 21st Birthday Blog Hop!

We are so glad you could join us! If you've come from Stephanie's blog, you're in the right place! If you have just come across the hop and would like to start at the beginning, please visit Ashley at Made Especially For You.

This weekend we are celebrating Ashley's 21st Birthday with some fun and creative, birthday/alcohol-themed projects! It's not 21 without a drink or two, right?!

Ashley and I have a crazy story of how we met and it all started with Facebook, Thickers and TJ Maxx!  She had posted about wanting to find Thickers at a great price on Facebook and I commented on her post to check out her local TJ Maxx store because I had just scored some great Thickers!  Well she went to her store and found nothing!  Well we messaged back and forth for a few weeks and I would tell her every time I scored new Thickers at my TJ Maxx.  So she would go the next day and guess what, no Thickers!  So I decided I would send some of my great haul with Ashley!  Of coarse I would need her address to do so and when she emailed me back her address I had to do a double look!  Come to find out she is only 20 minutes away from me!  We were going to the same TJ Maxx and she would go after I had cleared them out!  She is the best and I am so very thankful to have not only met her on Facebook but to have actually met her and take some great classes with her in person!

For my project I made a sweet and fun card and of coarse it had to have polka dots because Ashley loves polka dots and do go along with the theme of the hop I had to add some Margaritas!

Happy 21st Ashley!  I hope you have a great birthday weekend and thank you so much for including me in you birthday hop!  Cheers!

I created a card for my project today using the stamp set Celebrate from Paper Wings Productions.  There are a handful of these great script stamps in the PWP shop and they are some of my favorites!  I love the font and they stamp out beautifully!  I created my card using scraps of pattern paper that went well together and then took a strip of vellum and stamped the sentiment with VersaMark ink.  I heat embossed it with some white embossing powder and it came out perfect!  I took a piece of seam binding that came in one of the past Nesting Components Kits and colored it with some color shine!  We now carry some great Gypsy Hand Dyed Ribbon in the shop that you are going to love!  Here is a look at my finished card.

Alright, it's time to send you off to your next stop so head on over to Katie's blog!!  I hope you enjoyed my card today!  Make sure to take some time and check out all the new products that have been added to Paper Wings Productions Shop!

Paper Wings Productions March Challenge

We are finally in March and that means hopefully warmer weather will be here soon!  It also means it is time for a new challenge over at Paper Wings Productions!  This month over at PWP we are celebrating the 2 year anniversary of the shop!  We have a lot of fun and exciting things going on this month and we hope you will join us!  This month our challenge theme is Celebrate and we can not wait to see what you come up with for this challenge!  Our sponsor this month is Nani ke Ola Scrapbooking.
Nani ke Ola will be giving one randomly chosen winner a $20.00 gift certificate to their shop.   Head on over and check out all the great products they carry here!

I created a fun birthday card for my project using a couple different stamp sets from Paper Wings Productions.
I love the Happy Clear Stamp Set from Paper Wings Productions and I stamped it in the middle of my card.  I then stamped it out again on a piece of scrap paper and cut it out to create a mask.  I placed the mask over the stamped image on my card and then began stamping out my balloons that are from the Sophie Clear Stamp Set.  Once all the balloons were stamped out I peeled off my mask and then colored the balloons in with my Stampin Up Markers.  A super simple and fun card that would be perfect for a boy or girl birthday!  I hope you will join us this month for our Celebrate challenge!  Head on over to the Paper Wings Productions Blog to see what the amazing design team has created for the challenge and to get all the details of the challenge!  Thanks so much for stopping today and remember to let your creativity take flight!

Paper Wings Productions Stamp of the Month

I am back with another card to share with you using Paper Wings Productions stamp of the month Funky Alphabet.
This alphabet stamp set is so fun and can be used in so many ways!  I wanted to create a fun but simple card so I pulled some great polka dot papers from the Sn@p Color Vibe 6x6 paper pad and started to create my card!  I started with a white card base and then covered it with an aqua and white polka dot paper.  I then used my Stampin Up Square Framelits to die cut some different layers to add to my card.  Here is a look at my finished card.

I also used the Art Textures stamp set with this card.  I wanted to add a little bit of a pattern on the white cardstock before stamping out the hello.  This card was super simple and I created a handful of them in no time at all!  To get your Paper Wings Productions Stamp of the Month head on over to the Paper Wings Productions Shop and pick yours up during the month of February to receive 40% off!  To take a look at a couple more cards using this same stamp set please click here and here.  Thanks so much for stopping today and enjoy your day!

Love Mini Album

I feel like it has been so long since I have posted to my blog!  Things have been very busy around here but I am excited for all the great things coming up!  Make sure to follow my blog and Facebook to stay up to date!  Today I am here to share with you a mini album I created using products from the Paper Wings Productions shop.  They carry amazing stamps but they also carry a great variety of other products to satisfy every creative need!  If you have not been to the shop lately you might want to head on over and check it out HERE.  They have added new products recently and there will be more new and exciting product coming very soon!  I can not wait!  To create my mini album I used a few pieces of plain chipboard and painted them with some red acrylic paint.  Once my paint was dry I used some Lindy's Stamp Gang Sidekick sprays to add some more beautiful color and some shine.  Once it was dry I used the Art Textures stamp to add some images to my pages.

The Linen Heart is also found in the Paper Wings Productions Shop and can be used in so many different ways!  I used the Text Melange stamp set to add some script onto the heart and then I adhered the word love onto the heart.  The love sentiment comes from the stamp set Valentine Wishes and after I stamped it out on some cardstock I cut each letter our separately.  To take a look at the rest of my album please head on over to my Spotlight Sunday post HERE.  Thank you so much for stopping today!

RCS #64

Hello everyone I am here to share with you challenge #64 over at Red Carpet Studio.  This bi-weekly challenge is inspired by the 86 annual Academy Awards and the challenge is to create something inspired by the Academy Awards.   Do you have an award that you want to feature on a layout?  Is gold your signature color?  Create a project inspired by this yearly tradition in American film.

I was inspired by all the gold that go along with "The Oscars" so I created a card using some gold sequins and a gold die cut that I cut using my Cricut Mini.  The gold paper I used is from Stampin Up and it is the Gold Foil Sheets.  It cuts beautifully in my Cricut and my cuttlebug!  Here is a look at my finished card for this challenge.

Our sponsor this week is Mindy King, an independent consultant for Thirty-One Gifts.  She has donated a great storage bin for one randomly chosen winner.
Please head on over to the Red Carpet Studio Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the design team has created for this challenge!  Thanks so much for stopping today and I can not wait to see what you create for this challenge!
