Welcome to the Clique Kits May Blog Share! You should have arrived from Jody's blog if you are just stopping for a visit please head on over to the Clique Kits blog to start from the beginning. I am so excited for this months blog share since we have some of The Clique (subscribers) joining us this month and of coarse our two fabulous Students of the Month Brooke Peterman and Danielle de Konink.
I am sharing 3 layouts I created with the April 2014 kit Debutante! Family is my number one always so it is not to much of a shocker that they are always the ones in my layouts 99% of the time! My first layout is of one of my younger brothers and my son Gavin playing a game on my brothers phone. It was Gavin's 2nd birthday and I had to get this shot before my brother noticed I had the camera out again! He does not like his picture taken at all!! I was successful and love how the photo came out!
My next layout is another one of my daughter in her tutu. I shared a layout earlier this month with some similar photos here.
I absolutely love this floral print with little bits of water coloring! I was not sure how I was going to use such a busy background but I kept it simple and I loved how it turned out! I did use the new Amy Tangerine stamps from this collection and one of her embroidery stencils to add some stitching! For my last layout today I used another one of my favorite photos of my husband, Gavin and I.
This stripe background paper is one of my favorites from the Plus One collection and I think I need to have at least 5 of these to hoard I mean use with some future layouts! I also used the new Amy Tangerine embossing folder on a piece of vellum as a laying piece. We now have these embossing folders available in the Clique Kits April School Store. We only have a limited supply so get them while you can cause when they are gone they are GONE! I hope you enjoyed my layouts today and are enjoying the share so far! It is now time to send you over to Lacey! Remember to leave comments along the way and follow the Clique Kits blog by email for your chance to win some exclusive Debutante journal cards and the Debutante paper collection!
