Clique Kits June Blog Share

Welcome to the June 2014 Clique Kits Blog Share!  This month we are featuring 2 fabulous paper collections in our kit and of coarse some amazing embellishments.  Heidi Swapp's Favorite Things and DIY Boutique from Simple Stories.
If you have arrived from Jody's blog then you are in the right place!  If you just stopped for a visit please click here and start the blog share from the beginning.  The challenge/theme for this month's blog share was to share one or more of our favorite things either by photos, journaling or in the blog post.

So lets get to some of my favorites!  I have 2 projects to share and the first one is of my favorite crew, my kids!  They are my world and I am so blessed to have each and everyone of them!  They fill my heart with so much joy and love and at times heartache but I could not imagine my life without them!  Each one of them unique and different but I can see myself in each one of them.  Time sure does fly by so I document everything!  The big events in life but most of all the little moments that I do not want to forget!  Here is a snapshot of us(except for dad he was working)backing out of our driveway!  My oldest, Drake, looks back and then looks at me and says "Mom can you believe you have this many kids?"  My reply was, "Yes Drake I can believe it and I love it so lets take a selfie!"  He just laughed and snapped a quick pic!  This is one of my all time favorites!

I used the current sketch from Creative Scrappers and the June 2014 Clique Kit and had a lot of fun with these fun colors and patterns and I love the mix of black and white!  The Pinkfresh Studio embellishments,  Chic Tags acetate pieces and Clique Kits exclusives are a perfect combo to finish up my layout!

My next favorite is of coarse Mrs. Heidi Swapp herself!  She is the Julia Roberts of scrapbooking in my book!  One of my absolute favorite designers and I was lucky enough to take one of her class and meet her in person!  I drove almost 2 hours to see her at Hannah's Home Accents in Antioch, IL and it was so much fun!  I decided to create a fun banner to document some of the photos and memories from this day.  This banner will be used as decor piece in my scrap room and when I am ready to take it down it will easily become a mini album!  It is nice to have these memories displayed for everyone to see!

I even added a little interactive piece on my banner to add another photo and some journaling.  Now for a look at what it looks like as a mini album!

I used the new Lawn Fawn Stitched Party Banners to create the mini album and I love how it turned out and how quick and easy it all came together!  I hope you enjoyed my projects sharing some of my favorites!  Remember to comment along the way and on the Clique Kits blog for your chance to win a $10.00 gift certificate to the Clique Kits shop!  Sign up to receive the Clique Kits newsletter and follow the CK blog for an extra chance to win!  Your next stop in the blog share is our very own Lacey and she has some amazing projects to share!  Here is the complete blog share list in case you get lost along the way.

  10. Fabulous idea to document meeting HKSwapp with a transformer banner (banner to mini and vice versa)-- and I love the black outlining on your layers on the layout. I mean I love everything, but that has caught my eye as an Erica thing lately and I like it.
